    Why mcrypt_get_iv_size does not work in PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3?

    Hi there,

    The following code runs well in Windows 7 PHP Version 5.3.2, but not in PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3. It does not show any error message. It's Just vanished in the air and nothing. It's very confused. What's the problem?

    $iv_size = mcrypt_get_iv_size(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, MCRYPT_MODE_ECB);

    Thanks,

    It's fixed now: the mcrypt module is not installed. The weird thing is php and ubuntu doesn't have any message for the problem. Just vanish in the air. Thanks,
