Disable plugins in IE, Mozilla, Opera, Safari, Chrome

Is there a way to disable a plugin using javascript? Currently, the plugins can be accessed for the navigator object and plugin property. e.g. navigator.plugins and you determine if a plugin is currently enabled.
    e.g. mimetype.pluginenabled

These properties are readonly, is there anything in javascript to turn off a plugin in javascript?
