cPanel >> How to generate self-signed certificate
I have a domain hosted on a webhosting on a shared server / shared IP with cPanel access (not WHM).
I wish to have https enabled for my domain so that i can open my domain in both the ways:
I believe if you use a self-signed certificate you do not have to pay anything to anyone.
I followed the tutorial at https://kb.uk2.net/web-hosting/how-t...lf-signed-ssl/
On that tutorial they have mentioned "STEP 10: On the page that loads you will then click on the link under Activate SSL on Your Web Site."
But I could not find the "Activate SSL on Your Web Site" link on cPanel anywhere. Can u please help me do the same or help get achieve https for my domain?
Many thanks in advance
To have an SSL, you need to be on a dedicated IP. Or if you are planning to have SSL for shared IP, that need to be installed for the server Hostname.
Please share the version of WHM?
