Posting Articles on Web 2.0 Sites

Web 2.0 sites are like blogging sites, if you post articles on these sites then you would mainly get two benefits, traffic and backlinks, which are really good things, I would say.

Yes, web 2.0 sites would send some traffic too so this is really good thing I would say as you would be building links apart from traffics too.

    1. You'll brand your web site, business and yourself by submitting articles. With every article, you are given the opportunity to promote your business with the resource/bio box where you can provide your web site address, e-mail address and other business information.

    2. You will become known as an expert on the topics you write about. This will give you and your business extra credibility which will help you compete against your competition.

    3. Your article might also be placed on the publisher's home page. This means that your article will be read much more since the home page is the most viewed page of any web site.

    4. Without doing any more work, you can keep on getting more and more traffic to your web site when submitting your article to e-zine publishers that archive their e-zines on their web sites.

    5. You will get free advertising! Since it's free, it will give you the money to spend on advertising elsewhere. You could buy advertisements in other e-zines or web sites that don't publish your articles or through Google Adwords or text/banner ads.

    6. You might get extra income from people wanting to hire you to write other articles, books, or even ask to speak at seminars. Just watch your income and business grow larger and larger without additional work. The major benefit of this is that it grows on its own because it feeds itself.

    7. Allows publishers to print your articles in e-books that they give away for free. Because e-books don't cost anything to produce or send out, they can easily spread like a virus or wildfire.

    9. You'll gain people's trust. Your readers won't be hesitant to buy your product or service if the like the article that you wrote. Your sales conversions and profits will go through the roof!

    10. Want your article guaranteed to run in their ezine? Agree to run one of their articles in your e-zine if they agree to publish your article in their e-zine. Talk about a win/win situation!

A good unique well written article will be accepted by the site owners and in time will begin to pass link juice to your site. Try not to include more than 2 links back to your site. A good rule of thumb is one link back to your root domain and one to an inside page.

Now, a lot of people tell me that they are not experts about anything to which I always reply "At one time every 'expert' from Bill Gates to Stephen Hawking knew nothing about what they are experts on." So don't let being a beginner stop you!

    3. Your article might also be placed on the publisher's home page. This means that your article will be read much more since the home page is the most viewed page of any web site. In addition, your web site will get indexed faster and more frequently because the web site's home page will usually have a higher page rank than it's other pages.

    4. Without doing any more work, you can keep on getting more and more traffic to your web site when submitting your article to e-zine publishers that archive their e-zines on their web sites. Why is this? It's because many people like to read past issues to evaluate the content they will receive if the subscribe. In addition, many people find that the information that they are receiving in their subscription is so good that they want to read all of the past issues as well.

    5. You will get free advertising! Since it's free, it will give you the money to spend on advertising elsewhere. You could buy advertisements in other e-zines or web sites that don't publish your articles or through Google Adwords or text/banner ads. With each passing day, you will be presented with additional advertising opportunities.

If you give it to say 30 people and they give it to 20 and they give it to 10 then your article will have been read by 6,000 people! The funny thing is that I get e-books forwarded to me all of the time that have my article in it! 8. If you want your article to get published all over the internet then submite it to article directories or web sites that have free content directories on them. They'll allow their visitors to republish your article.
