    Well, that's easy:

    1. High bounce rate = site not of interest to visitors = bad.
    2. Use SEO correctly to attract the right people.
    3. Have something new and interesting to say.
    4. Make the content easily accessible.
    5. Make the site visually attractive.

Reduce the file size of images, remove flash and javascript files and replace it with div.By decreasing the loading time of the website, the bounce rate can also be reduced.

Reducing the bounce rate on website pages that have highest volume of traffic from your more engaged visitors. So it's very important to reduce bounce rate.

To reduce bounce rate follows are below points:

    1. Speed up the page load time.
    2. Offer related content based on website.
    3. Open external links in new windows.
    4. Use of helpful 404 page.

Your website content needs to be useful so that it help the audience to keep engage in it and also leads to the other pages of your website. This will definitely help in reducing your website bounce rate.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page sessions (i.e. sessions in which the person left your site from the entrance page without interacting with the page.). Low bounce rate is Good for the website traffic and reputation. if your website have unique content for the user and website is well modified then the user attract to website and wait for some time. if our website UI is not Good then user only comes and goes out this increase the bounce rate of our website.

High bounce rate can point to two things ie people visiting or landing on a particular page in your site is getting what they are really looking for and hence they do not bother to visit the other pages or the landing page that you have chosen is is not at all offering what the users are looking for. It is always good to have a reduced bounce rate, for the cause, you need to optimize the landing page with quality content with a "call to action" element.

Bounce rate usually has little to do with SEO and everything to do with poorly written inaccessible sites without content of value. About the only thing that SEO can do -- and this is typically caused by black-hat stuff -- is increase your bounce by driving traffic to your site that doesn't give a flying purple fish about your content.

Pretty much the first two responses in this thread said it all. Content of value, presented in a clean attractive accessible manner. Remember the big rule that we've been told is the best SEO you can do:

Write for the users, not the engines.

If you're having problems with bounce, you likely don't have content of value, or if you do, it's likely an inaccessible mess that people aren't willing to put up with... or worse, you have bad SEO practices dragging in people who could give a **** about your topic.

... and the last of those is an increasing problem with all the hoodoo-voodoo scam artists pretending to know something about the Internet while having the giant set of brass to call themselves "SEO Experts".

Because pissing on accessibility and shoving a choice some people might not want down their throats is a GREAT way to build a website.

TARGET was deprecated for a reason, no matter how many ignorant halfwits with their craniums stuck up 1997's rectum want it to be otherwise. That type of garbage has NO business on the vast majority of websites.

... and if it does reduce "bounce" it's an artificial statistical reduction that has jack *** to do with what the visitor is actually doing!

Reducing bounce rate is not easy you make your full effort to let user stay on your site for 2 or 3 mins think of that how you can do it

maybe do through blog, video, slide or anything else
