Most of the time a high bounce rate is caused by people landing on a page that isn't relevant to what they are searching. So if you are ranking for some weird search terms and the user clicks into your site they will obviously leave.
Other factors you can take a look at are loading times, presentation, browser problems, and who is landing on your page for what terms.. If someone is searching for laundry soap and they land on a dry cleaning company they are going to bounce off the site.
In order to reduced bounce rate it's important to set up users' expectations through the content and be savvy in Social media
Well, There are many factors that effect on bounce rate like, Irrelevant content, Poor website navigation or bad design.. Here are some main factors which helps you to reduce the bounce rate..

If you want to reduce the bounce rate then create user friendly pages on website
Submit unique and fresh content it will surely help you to decrease the bounce rate of your website. Create quality backlinks it will also help you to increase traffic on your website.
It depends upon the users, if you are getting the right users then they will take time and look for the relevant content and products you are offering which will cost them time and you will get bounce rate. The best way to increase bounce rate is only you should market your product in its niche and go for the right users no matter they are in less numbers but your bounce rate will be better
Its highly depend on your website.
Try to add content that easy to read and let users stay in site add videos or helpful tips users like it most. Give them something free that attract them and let them stay in site.
Your content should be unique and according to the keyword research. If your content is copied or irrelevant from the searches this caus es high bounce rates. Make your website updated regularly with latest content. Latest content always attract people which reduces the bounce rate.
Bounce rate is simply the number of users who enter you site at a specific page and then leave without accessing any other pages.
Therefore bounce rate is entirely dependent on your website and what you are offering. Do you want people to visit other pages in the website.
For example, I've just started on a new project (which can be found here: Online Css Minifer) eventually this site will have lots of individual pages, each offering a different tool. Thus I'm expecting a high bounce rate and this isn't really of concern to me.
Do you have any more details about the contents/structure of your website? I know a high bounce rate can look bad but it might not be the end of the world.
