Auto mute based on what is on a screen
Can anyone answer (in some detail) or point me in the right direction to find out whether or not a program created in python or java can detect an image on the screen? For context, say you are using Hulu and an ad starts playing in the middle of your show. For those who do not know, during an ad a countdown box appears signifying the time until the show will resume. Can a program detect this box and auto mute the device? I understand there may be a better way to do this by somehow (obviosly I know next to nothing about code) detecting when this ad starts through the flash player "log"... IDK where i was going with this.
TLR - I want to auto mute Hulu ads by detecting when the countdown box appears.
