Although the marquee tag is outdated and not recommended, you would get a smoother image scroll with a JQuery Scroller. I would recommend you remove all the white space in the code and butt every image tag right up next to each other. That is one tag after another with no spaces. This includes starting/ending with the marquee tags.

Even a JavaSript image slideshow would be better.

vSlider Multi Image Slider for WordPress

WordPress Image horizontal reel scroll slideshow
    Demo:

    WordPress Plugin Directory

There seem to be some great image scrollers on links above. This one seems the best:

Is it possible to implement a image scroller I created in Wordpress in a template?

    From codex.com:
JavaScript will work within WordPress. It can be used within WordPress template files in WordPress Themes or Child Themes. JavaScript cannot be added to post content without a special WordPress Plugin that removes the filters that prevent unwanted code within the post content area for the protection of the user.
