Drag and Drop fields to a webform and submit form with fields position - Possible?

    All,

I have a client that is requesting that items from a list on the left be able to drag and drop in a custom arrangement in a 4 column and 6 row grid. The client than wants this to be on a form that allows them to receive the arrangement via email. I

Using jquery and I have the list and the 4x6 area setup just fine. The client can drag and drop to arrangement the items as needed, but how do I capture that arrangement on a web form? I know this could be done with 24 drop down boxes and then capture the value of the dropdown box, but that is not what the client wants.

    Any help is appreciated...

    Thanks

    Hello,

One way you could do this is to create 24 hidden fields or as many as you need at the time of submitting the form. Before posting form you would go over your 4x6 area, collect user input and properly populate your input fields. That way you would have everything you would need on the server side processing.
