    java android apps.

I was reading about the ability to produce android apps with c#. Is it possible to produce a app in c# that would work cross platform from android to ios? with minimal if not any modifications to the app its self once completed?

C# itself, can't make it happen, It could be possible via frameworks. When it comes to the cross platform features, all will depend on the available features that the framework will provide. Some of the cross platform apps builder I have used so far, are Phonegap, sensatouch... to work with these frameworks , HTML5 is enough to let you build your 1st app

C# is absolutely different programming language then Java, so it DOES not make any sense to write one application in one langauge and have this language convert your code into another and then compile it in the byte code correctly to make it work...
In my opinion, write a program in java, only then you can run it on different OSs(java has its jvms for differnt OS which will convert your application correctly)
    Cheers
