I made few changes and lost %75 of my traffic

About five months ago I made few changes on my site, after that slowly I started to lost my traffic. Now I've lost %75 of my traffic and of course my Google keyword ranks dropped drastically. Mainly what I changed:

1- On each essay page I put an empty layer onto essay's layer (to prevent copy, paste)

    Here's a picture of it:

2- I added h1 (title) and h2 (author name) tags.

An example of my new essay page:
    http://www.aymavisi.org/makale/Ilgis...ai%20Lama.html

And old (before I lost any traffic) version of it:

    Index page:
    http://www.aymavisi.org/index.html

    Old Index page:
    http://www.aymavisi.org/index%20old.html

    Essay menu page:
    http://www.aymavisi.org/2%20Makale.htm

    Old Essay menu page:
    http://www.aymavisi.org/2%20Makale%20old.htm

Did you think that the reason of losing traffic is that layer?
Most users want to copy-paste that kind of content.
One more thing: if someone wants to copy the content of your page, he/she will do that, no matter what you do to stop that...the user only needs to view the page source and copy what he needs from there

I know it but why all my keyword rankings dropped so drastically after that change? Even some keywords which were on the first page now not in first ten page.

A Web page's PageRank depends on a few factors:

    1. The frequency and location of keywords within the Web page: If the keyword only appears once within the body of a page, it will receive a low score for that keyword.
    2. How long the Web page has existed: People create new Web pages every day, and not all of them stick around for long. Google places more value on pages with an established history.
    3. The number of other Web pages that link to the page in question: Google looks at how many Web pages link to a particular site to determine its relevance.

My advice would be to revert those changes...they won't stop people to steal your content

Even on my old pages there was a protection, I only add a layer to make this stronger. Between old and new pages of my site above, is there something cause this dropping?

By the way that protection prevented %90 of copy pasters. What I aim is this.
