    problem update cursor style

    I have a java script function which creates a div appends to the body on every ajax request, this div has a class and the class defines cursor: wait; so when this div shows the cursor changes to wait cursor.
    on completion of ajax request I hide this div , but the cursor style remain as wait cursor until I move the mouse.
    to fix this I tried body.style.cursor='auto' but it does not work.

    here is my java scrit function whihc hides the div

    Code:
    				  function hideBusysign() {
    				    if (busySymbol != null) {
    				      //busySymbol.parentNode.style.cursor='auto';
    				      busySymbol.parentNode.removeChild(busySymbol);
    				      busySymbol = null;
    				    }
    				  }
    I commented the line //busySymbol.parentNode.style.cursor='auto'; uncommeting gives error only in IE , in chrome cursor style is never changed and chrome console does not show any erro.
    Please advice whats wrong in my code.

    i would try busySymbol.parentNode.style.cursor='default'; instead of 'auto'
