    How to make proper meta title?

    Hello.
    I am doing keyword research from Google keyword tool and doing competitor website analysis for keywords. I want to know that is there any proper way to set keywords in Meta Title of a page? Is there any steps or process to keep in mind while creating meta title and description?

    Your replies are very valuable for me.

    When creating meta titles:

    Do repeat keyword ideas in different words - no more than twice is usually best;
    Do tie these phrases to your content and other meta data;
    Do use plurals and word variations when possible;
    Do limit the use of punctuation; and
    Do use initial caps throughout the title.

    The most important keywords need to be written first in your title and the least important last.

    There are few things which you should follow:

    length (up to 64 characters)
    don't use any stop words like the, best, "," etc..
    It should read like a sentence..
    Use your main keyword in title

    Be prepare yourself by reading SEO keyword guidelines.And it is depend on your website theme, if you want region specific promotional keyword then you have need to search those keywords which target your cities with best searches. Always be careful with your website meta tags because this is what a search engine looking for. Keep proper length of your title tag and search medium competition keywords.

    However, if you don't use meta data on your pages then search engines would take them from your content as well.
