    Problems with <div> overflow

I posted this under another thread but I didnt get nay responses and it didnt really fit under the thread topic so here it goes again. I am having trouble with the following code:

    <div style="overflow:auto; width:150px; height:554px; color:white">Lyrics here</div>

The content is song lyrics and therefore i have every line of the song on its own line. Using this code however disregards my spacing preferences and just keeps it as one continuous paragraph.

    example:

    Escaping Alone

    lyricslyricslyricslyrics
    lyricslyricslyrics
    lyricslyricslyricslyrics

it would take the above and make it:

Escaping Alone lyrics lyrics lyrics lyrics lyrics lyrics lyrics lyrics

Any ideas on how to stop this from happening and allow for my spacing preferences?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Put your lyrics inside <pre></pre> wrapper.
