Sitemap is the list of pages in your website that could be indexed by crawlers. Sitemap should be created in XML format and once it functions in your website it`s to be submitted to Webmaster tools.

XML sitemap is helpful for indexing your content faster, there is no doubt to it.

A sitemap is a web page which contains the URL's of a website. It is like a road map to a visitor. Using a site map file you can easily navigate from one page to another.

There are two types of site map XML sitemap and HTML sitemap. XML sitemap is basically used for search engine. HTML sitemap is created for users which enables user to find all main pages on a single page.
For HTML sitemap, create a page and link all your main pages. For XML sitemap use xml sitemap generator tools (search in google) or you can use A1 sitemap generator.
