    So what was the Hack?

I am curious as to the Hack that brought webdeveloper.com down and most of QuinnStreet.

Was it a bug in Ubuntu or in vBulletin.

It was interesting poking around the code set vBulletin and have to say I have never seen an administration console like that before, C99madShell V2.0 Madnet edition.

Yep... I say it like I see it, even if it is like a baseball bat in the nutz... (\\.\ Aug08)
I want to leave this world the same way I came into it, Screaming, Incontinent & No memory!
I laughed that hard I burst my colostomy bag... (\\.\ May03)
Life for some is like a car accident... Mine is like a motorway pile up...

Interesting and a clever exploit, so the script exploited a weakness in both the server and vBulletin if what I am reading is correct, subverting the system AV and breaking vBulletins upload interface.

Brad Jones and his staff should be complemented for
getting the site back up and running so quickly.

Not a bad job, shame it took as long as it did to get back up and running, I was missing the site...
