    help blind old lady

    I cannot see my error. Want a black background for space id

    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    #wrap { width: 90%; min-width: 50px; max-width: 900px; background-color:black; }
    #space {
     position: relative; z-index:200; margin: 40px auto; padding: 40px .5%; text-align: center; width: 90%; max-width: 500px; min-width: 50px;  height:auto; background: #000;  display:table-cell; vertical-align: middle;  }
     #space h3 { color: #FC0; }
    #space img {  display: block; margin: 40px auto; padding: 5px; border: none; height: auto; width: 50%; min-width: 25px; max-width: 400px; }
    #textbox { margin: 5px auto; width: 90%; min-width: 200px; max-width: 600px;padding: 10px;  color: #000; background: #fff; overflow: hidden;  }
    </style>
    Also want #space img to be "responsie" and reduce to 25px

    Thanks Harith for reply. Here's the full code for indexMOBILE.html. It worked fine for index.html. I'd give you the link, but I'm worried about bandwidth usage at the moment.

    Code:

    OH! It's always a dumb, obvious blunder. I know that about CSS "cascading effect" but didn't catch it. Moving the LINK REL above the embedded STYLE fixed it.

    Thanks anyway. It's always comforting that WebDeveloper help is there.

    help blind old lady

    Three days a week, Dean Durham, or Miss Dean, is picked up for her volunteer duties at the Love and Care Ministries.

    "I make up the sack lunches. Cookies, chips, sandwiches, I put them in these bags," Miss Dean explained.

    Known as the "Bag Lady," Miss Dean has been there for 14 out of the Mission's 17 years. And everyone in the kitchen stops to say hello to the regular volunteer who is always filled with joy.

    "She's always happy. She's always wanting to be here," Mark Hewitt, founder and director of Love and Care.

    In fact, she's so well known, that she's considered a pro.

    "I feel honored to be the professional bag lady of Love and Care Ministries," said Miss Dean.

    She knows the job like the back of her hand, because she has to. Miss Dean is legally blind, so she relies on touch and feel to do her job.

    "It isn't difficult," she said. "You don't have to see to put four cookies in a bag.

    Last week an old, blind lady who I was helping walk to the grocery store told me I’m an angry and bitter person.

    In my defense, I’d woken up that morning after having three consecutive dreams that had an unsettling tone to them. I was also PMS-y (never a good enough excuse on its own) and was dealing with some drama that apparently is the norm when it comes to dating a (much) younger guy. So, when this woman stopped me on my way to get dog food, let’s just say I wasn’t exactly in the mood to help her to her destination (which wasn’t on the way to mine.) However, I can’t, in my nature, leave an old, blind woman standing there on her own so I agreed to take her to a main intersection.

    When I started things off by asking her if she’d ever considered getting a guide dog, our rapport went downhill very quickly. I only asked because my dog does therapy work, and it moves me to see how much of a difference she makes in people’s lives. But no, this old, blind woman wasn’t open to the idea of that. She knows how to live her life, she told me defensively – what works for her and what doesn’t. And despite never having spoken to anyone about guide dogs, she clearly wasn’t open to the idea.
