    Need to pass E-mail ID in URL through a form

    I am a graphic designer and I have a one field form (user fills only e-mail ID and clicks on Submit button). On submitting the form, a PDF needs to be downloaded. Also, the URL should change like this:

    In the last part after the = sign (utm_medium=) email ID of the user should appear.

    I hope my query is simple to understand and any help will be greatly appreciated! Please help me with the entire code or with steps as to where to add the javascript/ php and what to add.

    Thanks in advance.

    You do not need PHP or javascript to do what you have asked for, (except perhaps downloading the PDF). I'm not sure how you want that to be done, so this is an outline of the basics only...

    <!-- http://www.domainname.com?utm_source...ad&utm_medium= -->

    <form action="http://www.domainname.com/" method=GET>
    <input type="hidden" name="utm_source" value="- put value here -">
    <input type="text" name="utm_medium" value="your email address">
    <input type="submit" value="Submit">

    Note: Include the utm_source, and any other values that need to be passed, in hidden input fields, except for the utm_medium, which is user input.

    If you pass any thing through Url so you can use get method. But it is not good for security purpose.
