I am in the process of trying to export Thunderbird emails to Outlook or PST files. I came across http://www.thunderbirdtooutlook.com/ It seems to be exactly what I am looking for. Does anyone know much about this topic or if this is easy to use.

Thunderbird is good but it can't be better than Outlook, you have lots of flexibility with Outlook, I would say.

Is your email server an IMAP server? Do you keep copies on your server?

You would only need set up outlook with the account access credentials and it will download all your emails.
