    Can you use / in meta descriptions?

    I know you can't use " , but can you use / ?

    Yes, you can use as it means "Or"... it would be better if you write plain meta description in one sentence where there are not too many punctuation.

    In my view, we should avoid any kind of special character in meta tags..
