After much research, I learned IE does not like the Twitter Bootstrap feature of automatically resizing images to fit the parent.

When Bootstrap (or maybe jQuery) resizes the animated gif ... ghosting appears.

Interestingly, when you resize the window to roughly iPad size - no ghosting. But if you widen the browser to 940px - yes ghosting.

I tried fiddling with the transparency and dither settings. Turns out you either get text ghost or box ghost. LOL.

So what are options?
- is there a CSS IE workaround?
- a jQuery script

The image in the top row is in a "responsive" container.
The three images at bottom are just in a regular div.

Thanks, A.

P.S. This is my first post. Sorry if I'm in the wrong topic area.
