Hi,

Maybe I'm being stupid and missing the obvious but why can't I do ...

Code:

sessionStorage.iVal = $resMsg.text();
window.location.replace($redirVal.text());
-or-

Code:

localStorage.iVal = $resMsg.text();
window.location.replace($redirVal.text());
In both instances, the browser wipes out the contents of the session/local storage upon reaching the new page ?

The new page is on the same web server (i.e. the javascript is on http://XYZ/index.html and the redirect string is http://XYZ/home.html)
