    Unhappy How do I change and alter a gap between a definition list (or <dt> and <dl>) on css?

    Hey all, I'm trying to get myself to complete a project for myself, and I need some help here as why I'm here. So I'm making a dl and dt list/definition thing, but the gap between the first dl and the dts that follow it have a pretty big gap, anndd the dt above the second dl are just too close. Kinda hard to explain since I'm new to it.

    Here's the code

    And here's what comes out

    Too bad you used images instead of using sites like http://jsfiddle.net/ or http://pastebin.com/ where we could actually work with the code. If you don't have a document type, try putting one in otherwise browsers parse pages in Quirks Mode. Also, instead of all those zero margin and padding rules, try using the Universal Selector:

    * { margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0; }

    Place that right after the opening style tag or at the very top of the first external CSS file called. See CSS Reset. Might also try validating your code:

    CSS: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/
    HTML: http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_uri+with_options
    Unicorn - W3C's Unified Validator: http://validator.w3.org/unicorn/
