    Problem withcss and html slider - all images showl as 1 stack then 4 spaces

    I have been programming a website with a slider adapted from a coding blog. It worked in chrome but no other browser. I spent most of today resolving the compatibility issue. Found out that i need "webkits".

    The problem now is that all the photo's in the slider come down as 1 stack with 4 lots of white background I tested for this with different sized images.

    I'm not sure if this is a html issue or css issue. I have put the html code below I'm using a UL list.

    HTML Code:
    <div id="slider">
            	<div id="mask">
                <ul>
               	<li id="first" class="firstanimation">
                <a href="#">
                <img src="http://what-do-christians-believe.co.uk/wdcb-images/barn-frame.png" alt="Photo: A Finnish farmhouse" title="A finnish farmhouse" />
                </a>
                <div class="tooltip">
                <h1>Finnish Farmhouse</h1>
                </div>
                 </li>

                <li id="second" class="secondanimation">
                <a href="#">
                <img src="http://what-do-christians-believe.co.uk/wdcb-images/castle-frame.png" alt="Photo: Dover Cstle UK" title="Dover Castle UK" />
                </a>
                <div class="tooltip">
                <h1>Dover Castle</h1>
                </div>
                </li>

                <li id="third" class="thirdanimation">
                <a href="#">
                <img src="http://what-do-christians-believe.co.uk/wdcb-images/fire-eng-frame.png" alt="A Fire engine USA" title="Fire engine USA" />
                </a>
                <div class="tooltip">
                <h1>Fire Engine</h1>
                </div>
                </li>

                <li id="fourth" class="fourthanimation">
                <a href="#">
                <img src="http://what-do-christians-believe.co.uk/wdcb-images/flklnds-bch-frame.png" alt="Falklands Beach" title="Falklands Beach" />
                 </a>
                <div class="tooltip">
                <h1>Falklands Beach</h1>
                </div>
                </li>

                <li id="fifth" class="fifthanimation">
                <a href="#">
                <img src="http://what-do-christians-believe.co.uk/wdcb-images/seal-frame.png" alt="Harbour Seal" title="Harbour Seal" />
                </a>
                <div class="tooltip">
                <h1>Harbour Seal</h1>
                </div>
                </li>
                </ul>
                </div>
                <div class="progress-bar"></div>
    The css code can be found here

    The website is here

    How do I get the images to display in sequence?

    I looked at your problem and I have found problem in css. Here is the fixed version :

    starting at line 40 :
    Code:
    #slider li.firstanimation {
    	-moz-animation:cycle 25s linear infinite;
    	-webkit-animation:cycle 25s linear infinite;
           	-o-animation:cycle 25s linear infinite;
           	-ms-animation:cycle 25s linear infinite;
            animation:cycle 25s linear infinite;
    }

    #slider li.secondanimation {
    	-moz-animation:cycletwo 25s linear infinite;
    	-webkit-animation:cycletwo 25s linear infinite;
           	-o-animation:cycletwo 25s linear infinite;
           	-ms-animation:cycletwo 25s linear infinite;
            animation:cycletwo 25s linear infinite;
    }

    #slider li.thirdanimation {
    	-moz-animation:cyclethree 25s linear infinite;
    	-webkit-animation:cyclethree 25s linear infinite;
           	-o-animation:cyclethree 25s linear infinite;
           	-ms-animation:cyclethree 25s linear infinite;
            animation:cyclethree 25s linear infinite;
    }
    #slider li.fourthanimation {
    	-moz-animation:cyclefour 25s linear infinite;
    	-webkit-animation:cyclefour 25s linear infinite;
           	-o-animation:cyclefour 25s linear infinite;
           	-ms-animation:cyclefour 25s linear infinite;
            animation:cyclefour 25s linear infinite;
    }
    #slider li.fifthanimation {
    	-moz-animation:cyclefive 25s linear infinite;
    	-webkit-animation:cyclefive 25s linear infinite;
           	-o-animation:cyclefive 25s linear infinite;
           	-ms-animation:cyclefive 25s linear infinite;
            animation:cyclefive 25s linear infinite;
    }

    Thanks for your help and working answer.

    I spent about 8 hrs over the past 3 days trying to solve this. In the end the answer was simple. Just add a number after the cycle!
