    print php generated report

    I simply want to print php generated report. My monitor
    displays exactly what I want but what must I do to get that
    onto paper??

    If you don't like what your browser does to the report (File,Print) you will most likely have to generate the report as a PDF. Try FPDF - takes a little learning but works great and is very versatile. Simple to install, allows for any font you want to upload and use and displays images as well.

    Or add a @print media type to your CSS, and tweak that to get the desired print output.

    You can provide a button which will print the page when clicked. Incidentally, depending on the browser configuration, it may also print the button.

    <input type="button" onClick="window.print()" value="Print The Report"/>
