    Question Help with centering div in Google Chrome

    Hi guys! First time on the forums. I'm a student learning web development and am having a rough time. The current code I have works in everything BUT GoogleChrome. No idea why and no idea how to fix it. Maybe someone could help me out??

    Here is the HTML:

    <div id="centernav">
    <div id="menubar1">
    <a href="home.html">Home</a><a href="about.html">About</a><a href="images.html">Images</a><a href="videos.html">Videos</a><a href="resume.html">Resume</a><a href="contact.html">Contact</a>

    And here is the CSS in its own file:

    width: 699px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;

    Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

    No reason at all, so could be a conflict in the page in that you have more than on centernav div? Is there anything else in the surrounding or inner divs (in the css) that could be affecting that div?

    Maybe provide a bit more of your html and css

    Honestly, I'm not quite sure. I'm about three weeks into learning all this stuff. I have to say it can be rewarding, and frustrating. I booted it back up this morning and now it is working in google chrome. Don't ask me why it started working. I spent hours trying to figure this thing out. Seemed to of fixed itself. Thanks for the help anyways!
