    What is ccTLD gTLD?

    Hi friends...
    I heard the word ccTLD and gTLD from Before 3 days while i was searching for the process of multilingual SEO to my websites.But i can not get the exact details of that words.So please tell me something about ccTLD and gTLD...

    In my words, ccTLD means Country Code top-level domains. As the name rightfully suggests, these kind of top level domains are related with a particular country. Country code domains are created to be used by individual countries.

    gTLD means Generic top-level domains. These kinds of domains are created for the internet public. Anybody from any country can apply for gTLD, provided certain conditions are met....

    According to Google, these are the generic top-level domains (gTLDs) which do not specific a country. Google treats the following as gTLDs that can be geotargeted in Webmaster Tools.

    Generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs)

    .jobs etc.

    ccTLD means Country Code top-level domains. Country code domains are created to be used by individual countries.

    ccTLDs (e.g., example.de, example.fr)

    gTLD is generic top level domain

    It can be .com, .net , .org

    ccTLD is what you stated. country code
