IE not opening links without extensions
I am going to a website which has url links that do not have .html extension eg:
On most workstations the browser will open the link. On one particular workstation when you click on the link, it will not open the link but asks whether we want to save etc. 'Do you want to save this file or find a programme on line to open it'.
Is this an OS or IE setting that is causing this problem?
This is probably due to the file association for ".htm" (or whatever) is not set. If you do not know what the extension is, you can probably display the source code by pressing Ctrl U.
