Which Chipset is better Laptop?
I am planning to buy a laptop but I am confused which out the following chipset is better
Mobile HM76 Express
Any inputs will be appreciated.
As long as it does the job, why should it matter?
The PC I am currently using uses the D525 chips, its 1.6Ghz dual core with a through put of a 3.2Ghz machine. I can even set the machine up to run in 64 bit mode and I lose 200 hz in the bridging process.
So my opinion is simply, if it works, does the job it says it does, then why worry about it, the thing you need to worry about is the amount of available RAM and if some one nicks it.
Yes, I know I'm about as subtle as being hit by a bus..(\\.\ Aug08)
Yep... I say it like I see it, even if it is like a baseball bat in the nutz... (\\.\ Aug08)
I want to leave this world the same way I came into it, Screaming, Incontinent & No memory!

Life for some is like a car accident... Mine is like a motorway pile up...

Yes, I agree, it really does not matter. Processor speed is no longer a constraint, memory is now more important.
From a quick googling:
HM76 support 2nd and 3rd generation Intel processor
HM86 support 4th generation Intel processor.
HM86 is newer and more expensive.
