You have to use .htaccess for redirection.

First make a text file abc.txt and write your redirection rules in it and save it, after that upload that file into your web hosting directory where your main index.html file exists, then rename file name from abc.txt to .htaccess (no file name but only extension htaccess). Thats all, nothing more required.

Redirection rules: google, facebook etc. redirects to www.google.com while www.twitter.com redirects to twitter.com. Based on your choice of redirection with or without www, just copy paste redirection rules either via searching from google or try this link: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/U...or_without_www

Remember that google search engine considers www.domain.com as one website and domain.com as another website so your search rank will be divided accordingly if you use both types of urls. To keep better search rank, use only one url and redirect other via .htaccess.

    Hope this helps.
