    Business Card Generator

Hi guys, really need your advice and help on finding a "Business Card Generator / Maker"

    Just like the ones on:

    http://www.jukeboxprint.com/

    http://uk.moo.com/

Where you can select a template for BC and then edit the info "Name, Mobile.." instantly on the card itself.

I appreciate any help guys. Thank you in advance.

What is your goal? Do you want to offer business card printing on your site or is this just something personal?

There are business card scripts available online that you can find in the search engines. Just search on "business card maker script".

Creating a form on a page that would let you work from a template isn't terribly difficult, but there are lots of details that have to be nailed down that you're probably going to have to work out for yourself.

Hi Rick, firstly thank you for responding!

It's honestly for a business I am trying to test, I am alone on this and I am not a developer, I am a graphic designer.

I have already found something close:

    http://www.wufoo.com/ and http://www.jotform.com/

But they are only for Forms, not Business Cards.

Creating the webform is not difficult. I use the Foundation grid system for all my forms. It takes a few hours. I created a similar capability years ago using MS Word and VBA. The user filled out a form, selected fonts and graphics and the addin created a Word doc and a PDF containing a sheet of business cards. The user could take that to a print shop and get it printed or print it themselves. It used Avery templates for business cards. What is the output of this process (pdf?). I think that is the hard part.

Thank you for your post, it's very helpful.

Yes PDF use. Just like to note that I am myself not a developer and have almost zero experience in coding.

Can you please give me some links to how exactly you did these Webforms? Can I place them on my website for people to use these templates to create their business cards?

I use the Foundation grid system to layout my forms. Basically, it allows you to create an organized layout that works in most browsers. I don't support anything less than IE9. They have examples on how to use it:

I use Visual Studio Express for Web (VSE) 2012 or 2013 (free) and MS Expression Web 4 (EW4) (free) for development. VSE works better on Javascript and EW4 supports total web development and PHP. EW4 has numerous online tutorials and there is a book you can buy. I have several books but I thought one of the best was Learning Web Design: A Beginner's Guide to HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Web Graphics by O'Rielly.
