    Save button in HTML (exactly)

    Hello

I want to make a button that saves the content within a textarea exactly the same as typed in the textarea.

    So if you type:

    Hello

    I am browsing webdeveloper.com

    That you don't get:
    Hello I am browsing webdeveloper.com

    You see?

Is it possible to save something from a textarea? Or shall I need JS too?

    Thanks for reading,

    Niely

You'll need a server side language (PHP for one) and as for your exact question. You need to format your text in order to put in line spacing, line breaks and tabs. If you just want to put line breaks, so that it will look like the above. Then something like nl2br in the line of code in php when you are writing the code or from a client side (still using a server side language to display...I know a little confusing) then you can use <pre></pre> HTML tags. Or a third option you can use a third party script, but for the life of me I can't think of one. However, I'm sure you can find one by simply doing an internet search.
An in case I'm all wet on you programming skills then like I said finding a third party script should do the trick for you.
