Twitter Bootstrap + CMS
I'll jump right in. I am dealing with a team of people who have no knowledge in coding websites, nor have the time to learn. I want to be able to deliver a Bootstrap theme, link it up to some sort of CMS system and then pass it onto them. Meaning, I won't be heavily involved in updating pages.
I have several questions about it though. So I have a Bootstrap template, suited up with libraries such as; pagination, tabs, scrollspy, etc.
And that's the thing I don't understand! If I hand over my current design and they want to expand a page that has tabs in it, how can they possibly update the tabs or add new dropdowns through a CMS system?
My last question. Take into consideration my last question. What CMS should I use
I'm genuinely confused because I've used many CMS systems, like wordpress and I can't think of how these things can be incorporated?
Thanks for reading!
Thank you for the useful links.
I'm still confused as to how others are expected to maintain the bootstrap design when limited to a CMS.
I'll give you an example.
How are they expected to add more according links, etc?
usually clients are only expected to add or change content (text, images, video, etc) when using a CMS. Changing the design or adding new pages is usually beyond what most clients will feel comfortable doing.

In those cases (Joomla, Drupal), you do the CMS first, then integrate Bootstrap into it, if you need to. If you just want a responsive site, you don't really need bootstrap.
+1 to what kralcx said.
I would suggest to use Drupal CMS, because Drupal base theme, built with Bootstrap that provides a simple yet powerful way to create complex responsive layouts.
There are tons of wordpress themes which come with bootstrap. Go buy a theme from template monster that has bootstrap and make your life easy.
