I have this problem in Internet Explorer 11 that my bootstrap modal does not work in Internet Explorer 11.

Error is: jquery.min.js
{exception} Unable to get property 'name' of undefined or null reference

Here is the javascript code:
<script type="text/javascript">
	$(document).ready(function() {
		$('a[data-toggle="modal"]').bind('click', function(e) {
			var $this = $(this);
			var target = $this.data("target");
			var url = $this.attr("href");
	$.fn.modal.defaults.maxHeight = function() {
		// subtract the height of the modal header and footer
		return $(window).height() - 165;

HTML Codes:
HTML Code:
<!-- Modal For Insert Project Email Content -->
<div class="modal fade" id="modalInsertProjectEmailContent"></div>

<div class="pull-right margin-bottom-half">
	<a class="btn btn-mini" href="/admin/populateEmailContentV2.asp?emailType=ApprovalConfirmation&random=<%= getRandomNumberForModal %>" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#modalInsertProjectEmailContent">Insert</a>

The HTML codes for populateEmailContentV2.asp:

HTML Code:
<div class="modal-header">
	<button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">&times;</button>
	<h1>Insert Email Content From Project</h1>

<div class="modal-body">
	<form name="frmModal" id="frmModal" action="/admin/populateEmailContentV2.asa" method="post" class="form-horizontal">
		<input type="hidden" name="emailType" id="emailType" value="<%= emailType %>" />

This not work only in IE11, but lower version of IE works. Other browsers works too.

Let me know what's the problem with this. By the way I am using jQUery 1.9.1
