    Floating items problem

Hello, on a website i am trying to create, i want to be able to display seperate text/forms/images along side one another and to do this i have created a floated div: span1 {float:left; width: 200px; padding: 1em;} but this has created a problem.

    When putting these divs within my container: #Container {margin: 0 auto; height: 100%; padding: 2em; max-width: 900px; line-height: 1.5em; color: #333333; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 12px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4); -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 12px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4); box-shadow: 0 0 12px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4);}, if the content on the page will move bellow the div if whats within makes the page longer.

You haven't given enough info to give a definite answer, but I would suggest you investigate the CSS clear command.

Basically, if there are alot of floated items on the page, it will exceed the container div
