Hi All,

I currently am able to embed a swf file into a web page, but what I need to do is link the swf file shown to a drop down box.

Is it possible to link embedded swf files to options?

This is what I'm currently doing, which is loading a web page with the different SWF files already embedded. So in the end, i'd like to do the same thing without using iframes, and loading the SWF file directly. Is there a better way to do this? (PS, I know this is probably extremely messy, im not a developer, but I've had to learn a little grow my account and serve my clients)

<form name="doublecombo">

<p>
<select name="example" size="1" onChange="redirect(this.options.selectedIndex)">

<option>Choose a site</option>
<option>Website 1</option>
<option>Website 2</option>

</select>

<select name="stage2" size="1">
<option value="http://javascriptkit.com">Choose a site</option>
</select>

<input type="button" name="test" value="Go!"
onClick="go()">

group[i]=new Array()

group[0][0]=new Option("Choose a site")

group[1][0]=new Option("Choose a site")
group[1][1]=new Option("Site 1 version 1,"http://www.../")
group[1][2]=new Option("Site 1 version 2,"http://..../")

group[2][0]=new Option("Choose a site")
group[2][1]=new Option("Site 2 version 1."http://...../")
group[2][2]=new Option("Site 2 version 2."http://...../")

var temp=document.doublecombo.stage2

function redirect(x){
for (m=temp.options.length-1;m>0;m--)
temp.options[m]=null
for (i=0;i<group[x].length;i++){
temp.options[i]=new Option(group[x][i].text,group[x][i].value)
}
temp.options[0].selected=true

function go(){
document.getElementById("search").src=temp.options[temp.selectedIndex].value
