    error 800A01A8

    hi to al!
I am new at this forum...can you explain me what's wrong in this script?

    set o = wscript.createobject("wscript.shell")
    o.run "notepad"
    wscript.sleep 2000
set wshshell.Sendkeys = ("kodoshim ha kodoshot ha zevul ve'yitzvah")

when I run it a message shows me "necessary object'wshshell' error 800A01A8

    how can I handle it?
    thanks

So where is wshshell defined/created in your script? Or should you be using wscript there instead?

Sincerely wshshell is not defined as wscript as in the following string:
    set o = wscript.createobject("wscript.shell") considering how I have learned.
As I saw in forums sendkeys often goes with wshshell , so I don't know...

All I know is that the error is telling you that "wshshell" is not defined at the time your code tries to use it on that line, thus that error. Unfortunately, I am not familiar enough with that language to know if it's a simple misspelling of a built-in object, something in a standard library that you need to make sure is loaded, or something more customized in a 3rd party library, etc.
