Hi all - newbie question I'm afraid.

I have a page that access an iframe:

Code:
<IFRAME ID="viewFrame" TITLE="Document Content Frame" SRC="/edrms/llview.exe/Foglight%20user%20journey%20test.html?func=doc.View&amp;nodeId=54782851&amp;docTitle=Foglight%20user%20journey%20test&amp;vernum=1" NAME="viewContent" HEIGHT="90%" WIDTH="100%"></IFRAME>
The source of that frame is:

Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML//EN">
<html>
<head>
<LINK REL="stylesheet" TYPE="text/css" HREF="/img/style/screen.css">
<LINK REL="stylesheet" TYPE="text/css" HREF="/img/admin.css">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
</head>

<BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#000000" LINK="#003366" VLINK="#660033" ALINK="#3300FF">

<p><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">it's_alive!</font></p>
What I want to do is search for the text 'it_alive!' from a script in our monitoring engine.

I have the following code, but it fails and gives me a Unterminated String constant' error in javascript!

Code:
var TEXT_TO_FIND="it's_alive!";
var elem =document.getelementbyid('viewFrame');

if(elem.InnerHTML.indexOf(TEXT_TO_FIND) > -1)
Any help with this gratefully received.

Regards

Justyn
