    Question HTML based user quiz

    Hello

I am running a html quiz that my students take on the daily and some of them are taking the quiz more then once to get 100 first they leave the name blank and then they take it get a 60 and then fill in there name and get 100 then it sends the results to a .txt doc when they dont put there name it shows as null i was wondering if there is a way when the results go through to also send there local ip so i can see what computer it is.

    Any help is appreciated,

    Tom

You should add validation to your HTML <form> so that it won't allow the form to be submitted if the name is blank. On a good day, the form processing script would check a database to make sure that the name is valid, too.
