Text on home page disappears when I use http://

I moved my Wordpress blog from a server to godaddy...and now have this issue:

When I go to my homepage by typing http://www.woodenpalette.com.... the text on the homepage is blank...there
is no text! If I simply type www.woodenpalette.com without the http:// everything works!!

This ONLY happens in Chrome on Windows 7. It use to work perfectly well and starting acting up when I move the site.

    Why is this? Please help

    thank you!

Add this code to your .htaccess file on server: (replace example.com with your site)

    Code:
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com$
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
This way, you always end up seeing your site with www no matter whether you type it or not, and that's good, because the www version works fine on all browsers.

I'm noticing what the original poster was talking about. In Chrome on Windows 7 visiting that page, while it does load, it appears to have no text. Though the issue isn't completely consistent as it will occasionally load with the text (all reloads are based on hard refreshes, Ctrl+F5. Normal refreshes seem to correct the issue).

Anyway, to the point, the problem seems to be related to the font you are using, Nobile. For some reason (unknown to me) it dosen't appear to properly load the font, thus there appears to be no text. Unfortunately I've never seen this so I can't tell you why, and so at best all I can do is suggest you try replacing the font or perhaps try loading the font earlier in your source or even load it via @import in your CSS instead.

Thank you for your advice. I will try this. I read somewhere else that it seems to be a problem with the font.
