Editing With Coffeecup editer
I need some advise how to open the right file. i am using coffeecup editer and trying to edit my web site source code for SEO reasons.
I have doenloaded my HTML-public file to coffeecup, but cannot find the proper pages i want to edit. lookin for my home page on my web site, so i can change the tilte tag and name my images in my web site.
If anybody knows how to open these pages so i can edit the source code would be very helpfull
This is my web site to view so u can see how the code is.
Your home page should be in the root folder of the public_html folder. If you selected and downloaded all the files to your computer, you should have the folders and files in the same order as on your hosting server. You then need to set up a Website Project leading to the root directory. This will allow you to also set up the FTP so you can upload any file/files once you've checked the editing in your local browser. Not sure if you are using the free or paid version of the CC editor, but the paid version has lots of features.
If you use PHP, you can edit those files, but must upload them to see the results unless you have installed XAMPP on your computer.
Looked at your home page's source code. Recommend that you check the HTML/CSS coding for errors:

thank you for the reply
This is what i have done, but still cannot find the home page to edit
i even look at the split view in coffeecup and still cannot find the pages i want
maybe i could share my srceen with u if you can spare some spare time, and i can show uwhat i see
Sure. A screen shot of what you see when viewing your directory structure in CC's editor might help. I still don't see how you are missing the home page file which is usually index dot something (index.html, index.php, index.shtml, etc.). It may also have another name (see File Names to Use for a Home Page).
If u could provide me with a contact number, then we can arrange a time to see whats up with this coding whenever u have time
If you have a webcam with audio, Skype can be used. Username: aone_user Suggest this as Skype also allows you to share your Desktop. Either that or install the free Teamviewer which allows a better view of Desktop and CC Editor.
