    For 2014 off page strategies,I would say Infographics and web 2.0 sites profiles are the best strategies.

    All Offpage techniques are same,But in the year 2014 lots of things have been changed. Google has drastically changed its search algorithm based on the various version updates of its algorithms that are released periodically like Hummingbird, Panda, Penguin and EMD.

    Do your SEO work as per Google updates. But yes few strategy you can follow in off page SEO are infograpic, quality content posting such as high PR web 2.0, blogs, guest blog from niche related blog etc.
