You can use Google Disavow tool in Google Webmasters. This tool does not remove the spammy backlinks but ignores them and does not index them further.

Remove unnatural links pointing to your website

You need to contact each webmasters regarding your link removal. Send individual letters to the site owners and request them to remove their links. Certainly, it would be an tedious task and some of them will demand money to remove your links from their site but you have to do this. Send a reminder after a few days to those who have not replied to your email.

Once you are sure that you have removed all the links that you can then create a disavow list and submit it to Google. Note that Google take some time to review list and therefor it will take time to show any effect on your website. If your website has acquired a penalty then submit a reconsideration request to Google.

In order to remove bad links you have to do 2 things

Make a link removal request to webmaster
Use disavow tool to notify google about those links which you canít able to remove.

If your site is already ranking and good standing, it is essential to conduct link removal activity. Hence I recommend you to do so.

1st step is to Make a link removal request to webmaster

For this step first you have to find the entire bad link and the webmasters associated to each link and politely send a link removal request email.

Points to remember while doing this are,

The removal process can be challenging and tricky, You canít remove all back-links
Personalize each email sending to webmasters
Always send a follow up to make sure your message was received
    DONíT threaten the webmaster
Never pay for link removals- if webmaster ask money to remove donít pay them, remember you can disavow links which canít removable.

2nd step is Use disavow tool to notify google about those links which you canít able to remove.

You can disavow from here: www. google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?pli=1

To do this Get all your unmemorable bad links in a text file and upload this file to disavow tool.

Its take weeks according to Google to process disavowed links.

    cheers

Clean up your site in three steps.
    1. Have us perform a Silver or Gold SEO review
    2. Have Sucuri check and monitor your website’s security at a 25% discount.
    3. Have LinkResearchTools clean up and monitor your bad backlinks.
