    Synced Video's on mobile devices

    Hi there,

I've got a question for you guys. (not sure if Web Video is the right category to post this under, if not... my bad.)

I want to create a website that shows 2 different videos on 2 different mobile devices (probably iphones) and time synchronises them so that both video's start at the same time.

So you have 2 iphones, iphone A goes to www.url.com/1, iphone B goes to www.url.com/2. They both play a different video, but they only start playing the video at the same time when both iphone A and iphone B are ready to play. A small delay between videos, say 0,5-1 sec is oke, but it shouldn't be more than that.

How would one go about this? Is this possible by creating a website? Or would it be better to create a mobile application that syncs the videos/phones?

I'm a newbie when it comes to web development and would hire someone to create this kind of website/application. But i thought i'd first ask some advice on which kind of specialist to hire!

Hope you guys can help me out!

I'm no expert on playing videos on iPhones (I don't even have one), but as no one else has replied, I'll offer my thoughts...

I think it extremely unlikely that you can do something as hardware specific as this in HTML. I'd suspect you would need some form of app to handle the synchronization. That is assuming that the video player supports such synchronization...
