I hope this is the right place to post my questions...

I don't have any problem to display the customer info (with Cyrillic font) to the webpage. But when I used ASP to pipe the customer info (retreived from the SQL database) results to either MS .txt or .xls and .doc format. All the text with Cyrillic font became buch of funny characters. I even tried using open a textfile, then for loop and writeline each record to the file, and got same funny characters, too. I also configured my PC's Regional and Language Options to recognize the Cyrillic font as default. I don't know why, and I thought I took care of that in the ASP codes. Here are my sample of ASP codes: this one direct pipe to the MS word.

<%@language=VBscript codepage=1251%>

response.ContentType = "application/ms-word"

response.AddHeader "content-disposition", "inline; filename=dynamic.doc"
response.buffer = true

Any help or code changes would make the Cyrillic font display on textfile correctly would be much appreciated. Thx.
