JavaChat Error

For the past two weeks, I have been unable to participate in my favorite chat forums. I keep getting the error:
'java.lang.NullPointerException'
and, I am unable to post any msg.
This is more than one chat room, more than one location. PLeae direct me toward a "fix"!!!!!!!!

This error is received when an application attempts to alter a null object.

Contact the Author or Site Admon and inform him/her of the problem.
