    Something We All Need

    Good morning.

It has been a while since i have posted here. I have a suggestion.

I have recentley spent quite a lot of time looking for tools sucha s the layout-a-matic et cetera and i was wondering if we could help each other in some way.

How about we have a new thread where people submit links to online tools that may be of use to web developers.

    Good/Bad idea?

    Many Regards,

    David

You'd have to have a very clear structure for it to be a success.
    e.g.
    Learning Web Languages

    Places for inspiration

    Specifications

    CSS Layout Tools

    Validators and Accessibility Testers

    HTML editors

    etc.

It might be better to have the list on www.webdevfaqs.com

You could almost set-up a basic website which categorically listed tools which may be of advantage to web designers and developers.

We could list our own apps and utilities, such as code generators and validators.

    www.tools.webdevfaqs.com ???

    Regards.

    Could be!

<shameless plug>There's a new version of webdevfaqs coming soon, with a brand new CMS, so maybe when that gets online we can ask Pyro about it.</shameless plug>

And when he gets back online lol!
