Edit: oops, minor point: you have used an & instead of an & which the XHTML validator only comments on but the CSS validator refuses to accept. It's a minor point, but you might want to sort it out.

Funny, I'm not seeing an & other than the one in the byline on top, and I have that coded as & amp; (no space). Could you please let me know where you're seeing it?
Also, I validated each page in W3C and got no warnings.

everything works, i found though that using MS-IE 5.0, that your bottons on the left moved more towards the right of the page, and untill i moved my mouse on each of the buttons they where out of place.
