Hello.
Just wondering if you could answer a simple query for me.
We are about to start a Forum, that is likely to be immediately large as it'll be a customer support which has been heavily requested.
I've investigated vBulletin and PHPbb.
However, how have you found vBulletin to operate under such high loads, as this is a pretty big Forum?
Any comments for me please?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Kind regards,
Daniel.
both forum apps you listed are great... this site runs on one of those as you can tell
However I also suggest taking a look at http://www.invisionboard.com/

invision is great.the admin gets so many things they can edit......great host!
Well, as the Managing Editor of FlashKit, where the discussion forum (also vBulletin) gets roughly a million pageviews per day, with 440,000 members and has an average of 200 members online at any given time, I'd say that vBulletin does quite well at handling a heavy load.
Thanks,
Scott
