I see some yellow buttons! (on the forums pages, not threads) The arrows are yellow! But why not put them all up at once?

    **EDIT**
Never mind, I see they're gradually switching over. First the arrows, then the row of buttons up top, then the PM button

looks nice. Any chance for more contrast between the new posts and no new posts icons on the main page? I really have to squint to tell whether there's anything new.

The black glow around the text on the images is a little too much, and I agree with Sam on the contrast thing. Also, the envelopes on the front page aren't yellow.

well, not totally. The thread buttons are still the original ones. Also, I just spoted somthing while writing this reply. The " This thread has more than 40 replies. Click here to review the whole thread." at the bottom of the reply form the "here"'s forground is the same as the background. It's invisible until you hover on it.

As a design critique, I'd have to say that I'd get rid of the drop shadow on the text, or at the very least, tone it way down. To me, it seems to make the text harder to read and grabs your attention.

Yeah, I agree with pyro, the dropshadow needs to go--use a stroke effect or something if the text is unreadable without it...

agreed. i also that the difference between the new posts and no new posts images is very minute, and would be most inconvenient to those who have any difficulty with site or crappy computers.

Ditto. Now I have to really look at ’em to see which one has new posts.

We added a new "No New Posts" icon. There shouldn't be any trouble differentiating between the two of them any longer. Thanks again for the great ideas.
